Terms and Conditions

1. Research use only

All products supplied through this website are laboratory research materials intended exclusively for in-vitro scientific research. They are not registered on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods, are not medicines, and are not supplied for administration to humans or animals, for use in food, or for any cosmetic or household application. By placing an order you warrant that the material will be used solely for lawful research purposes.

2. Eligibility to purchase

You must be at least 18 years of age and appropriately qualified and equipped to handle, store and dispose of research chemicals. You are responsible for ensuring that your acquisition, possession, handling and disposal of any material ordered complies with all laws applicable to you, including Commonwealth, State and Territory legislation. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order at our discretion.

3. No therapeutic or medical claims

Nothing on this website is medical, veterinary, pharmaceutical or health advice, and nothing on it should be read as a representation that any product is safe or effective for any purpose. We do not provide dosing guidance or protocol design assistance. If you are seeking treatment for any condition, consult a registered medical practitioner.

4. Pricing, orders and payment

Prices are listed in Australian dollars. We make reasonable efforts to keep pricing and stock information accurate, but errors can occur; where a material pricing or availability error is identified we will contact you and you may elect to proceed at the corrected price or receive a full refund. Your order constitutes an offer to purchase, which is accepted when we dispatch the goods.

5. Delivery and risk

We deliver to Australian addresses only. Transit estimates published on the Shipping page are indicative and are not guarantees. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery to the nominated address. It is your responsibility to ensure the consignment can be received and moved into appropriate storage promptly on arrival.

6. Returns and Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you may have under the Australian Consumer Law which cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to those rights, and because the integrity of research material cannot be verified once it has left our custody, we are generally unable to accept returns of opened or unsealed vials. If goods arrive damaged, incorrect, or otherwise not as described, contact us promptly and we will arrange a replacement or refund.

7. Certificates of analysis

Certificates of analysis describe the specific batch tested and are provided for informational purposes. They are not a warranty of suitability for any particular application, and it remains your responsibility to qualify any material against the requirements of your own method before use.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject to any non-excludable rights under the Australian Consumer Law, our liability arising from the supply of any product is limited to the resupply of that product or the cost of resupply. We accept no liability for any loss arising from use of a product other than for lawful in-vitro research, or from any failure by you to comply with applicable law.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia. We may amend these terms from time to time; the version published at the time of your order applies to that order.

These terms are a general template and should be reviewed by an Australian legal practitioner before you rely on them.
