About Selank
Selank is a synthetic heptapeptide derived from tuftsin, a naturally occurring immunomodulatory tetrapeptide, with a stabilising sequence appended to extend its half-life. It was developed at the Institute of Molecular Genetics in Russia and most of the published literature on it originates there.
It is frequently studied alongside Semax, another Russian-developed research peptide, which is why we also stock a bundle containing both. Selank has no marketing approval in Australia and is not a registered medicine here.
